Happiness

Happiness

Happiness is a dandelion seed
Floating giddily through the trees
Ever darting around
Never falling down
Elusive and free as the breeze.

Happiness is the hope of all men
Their highest hope and highest love.
They stalk and they spring.
They grab for that thing!
Yet they scare it higher above.

Dandelion seeds aren’t easy to catch.
It takes patience to get one to land.
Just stay right below
And move very slow
It will settle right into your hand.
