I am happily married and the very proud mother of two daughters, Tracey and Tanya, and my son, poet Tony Spivey.

I have written for newspapers since I was 18. My first book, The Pocket Sack, is a 486-page novel about the brightness of love and the darkness of hate, the rewards and sorrows of each. It is rated PG. It was released March 1. I am busy finishing the sequel.

My interests include writing, reading, decorating, collecting old, signed art and making new friends as well as taking planned monthly outings with my four sisters.
