I reside in Key West, Florida and Woodstock, New York. I am a relative newcomer to the poetry world.

My first reading was at the Key West Poetry Guild in 1997, and now I will read anywhere, anytime. I have  read at the Woodstock Poetry Guild, Woodstock, New York, The Newburgh Council for The Arts, Newburgh, New York, and The Woodenhead Gallery, Key West, Florida.

I was a featured poet at the Hemingway Days Festival in Key West, in 1999. My poetry has been published in numerous publications, newspapers and web locations.

Present projects include a chap book The River of Duval; a weekly column appearing in a local newspaper, The Key West Citizen; and a book of unique meditations, The Meditation Express, which I am co-authoring with my partner, Nancy Butler-Ross.

Discovering poetry and the written word as my art after spending thirty plus years as a Type “A” business personality has been a grand metamorphosis for me, and a wonderful way to start the new century.
