I am a single mother of an adorable seven-year-old daughter, and a life-long resident of Palm Springs, California.

I have been writing since I was eight – my first poem likely to have been mostly plagiarized from something I read. I have since gotten much more original in my writings.

My greatest inspiration was my fifth grade teacher, Mrs.
Keefe – who gave me extra credit for every poem I wrote. She was the one who first put the idea of being a writer into my head. Although I have not sold anything yet . . . if you are here reading this, I must be on the correct road.

I write for those who are fans of literary arts and also those who are not. I believe everyone can benefit from art and beauty in their life.

I like to swim, hike, off-road, read, and do hand papermaking – in addition to writing short stories and song lyrics.
