What pleases me now
is not the stinging
lap of salted seas
or undulating
post-tropical equations
blistering in equatorial
heat.

What pleases me now?

A solitary pair
of hands swallowing
my waist. The scent
of love breathed hot
with lust behind my neck.
The soft low sounds
moaned in three little words
plucked ripe from the box
in the sweet gooey center
of forever.

What pleases me now
is love
with you.
