I am a 35-year-young poet and artist who has been writing poetry for publication for the past five years. Recently transplanted to the land of corn and soybeans I now live in Indiana. Due to illness, I find myself a
“domestic engineer” with a great deal of time on my hands which I occupy creating art and writing the odd verse or two.
My work has been widely published across the Internet and can also be found in recent books such as

I receive a great deal of e-mail from fans of my work and rising new poets. The question they most often ask is:
“Where do you get your inspiration and how do you translate it into
words?” The “where” part is fairly easy to answer . . . my inspiration comes from everything around and within me; situations, people and the emotions that are
evoked. The “how” part is something I cannot truly describe beyond saying
it is a form of need to express. Poets don’t merely write poetry . . . poets ARE the poetry they write.
